This is where Thiscovery staff build, run, and manage surveys and research forms for our clients. Only staff sign in here. Clients and participants do not.
What you can do here
- Build forms. Write questions in the studio, import them from a CSV, or start from a brief or a template. Add branching and calculations, piping, loops, randomisation, quotas, and consent. Check the variable list and the flow chart before you publish.
- Run studies. Publish a reviewed edition and share the live link. Invite panel members, send email, schedule waves and follow-ups, and run Delphi consensus rounds. Translate a form when a study needs more than one language.
- Track responses. Follow completions, quotas, and response quality on each form’s dashboard. Integrity checks can flag speed, straight-lining, duplicates, attention checks, and inconsistent answers. Captcha can be required before the form opens, or before submit, and Submit stays off until that check is completed.
- Deliver results. Export analysis-ready data and a codebook. To send a file to a client who has no account, use Secure send: prepare the file, name one contact, and they open a private link with a one-time code sent only to that address. You can see when it was downloaded, send a new code, or revoke the file.
Working with client data
- Collect only what the study needs. Use an anonymous form when identity is not required.
- Publish only after the form has been reviewed. Each published edition is kept, so every response stays tied to the wording the participant saw. Issuing a new link retires the previous one.
- Send exports through approved channels. Turn on PII scrubbing before results leave the team. Secure send keeps the file for one nominated address, and the code expires after the time set on the form.
